Meet Shane: Caring, calm, professional
Shane is a long-standing, much-valued member of the Pellow and Hill Funerals team, working with both Pellows and James R Hill before the two brands were brought together. His experience with both organisations gives him a deep understanding of the care, professionalism, and traditions that continue to guide our work.
Meet Peanut
Peanut, our new miniature pony mascot, brings smiles, comfort, and a little lightness wherever she goes. From rest homes to community events, her calm nature and cuteness spread joy and create lovely connections.
Our 2026 Community Fund
We've launched our new Community Support Fund from which we will be able to return approximately $15,000 to our local communities by way of a range of sponsorships to grass root community organisations by the end of the year. This initiative is incredibly special, it brings together the families we’ve supported and our team, to give back to those doing great work in our community.
Mistah's Newly Donated Headstone
Mistah Paewhenua’s headstone at a Hamilton cemetery was vandalised beyond repair, but local funeral directors and stonemasons have come to the rescue.
